Projects & Communities
There are a range of online communities at Beyond Borders. Different communities are intended for different languages, language levels, and for different ages.
Many communities are 'informal', that is to say students communicate in an improvised manner, sometimes directed by their teacher, sometimes logging in and communicating from their own initiative.
Other communities are 'formal'. Formal projects have set goals, deadlines, and specific instructions for students to follow.
Please email scollis@scil.nsw.edu.au to find out more about these projects or to request an 'enrolment instruction sheet' that you can distribute to your students so they can join a Beyond Borders community.
If you want to start up a community of students, let me know, and we can create the webspace for you and, if you want, advertise for schools to join.
